Shelton Ray Stafford Jr., age 65 died on Wednesday March 25, 2015 in Baton Rouge, LA. at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Baton Rouge, LA. and a resident of Prairieville, LA. Mr. Shelton retired as an operator with Georgia Pacific and was currently working as a courier for G & S Courier Services. Shelton Ray Stafford Jr., age 65 died on Wednesday March 25, 2015 in Baton Rouge, LA. at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Baton Rouge, LA. and a resident of Prairieville, LA. Mr. Shelton retired as an operator with Georgia Pacific and was currently working as a courier for G & S Courier Services. Mr. Shelton is survived by 2 daughters- Angie Lee and Husband Shane of St. Amant, LA., Brandi Stafford and Fiance Frankie Schmitt of Prairieville, LA., 1 Son- Christopher Stafford of Prairieville, LA. Also survived by 1 Sister-Terri Burch and her partner Leslie Monk- of Batchelor, LA., 2 Brothers- Larry Burch of Prairieville, LA. and Travis Stafford of Baton Rouge, LA. Mr. Shelton is survived by 6 Grandchildren, Olivia Rose Lee, Jordan Dubois, Kaitlyn Schexnayder, Chanler Lee, Christian Schmitt and Ryleigh Schmitt and 1 Great Grandchild, Bentley Schexnayder. Mr. Shelton was preceded in death by his Father and Stepmother-Shelton Ray Stafford Sr. and Rachael Stafford, Mother and Stepfather- Viola Diez Burch and Johnny Burch, Grandparents- Corbet and Olympe Diez. Visitation for Mr. Shelton will begin on Friday, March 27, 2015 at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy. in Gonzales, LA. from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will resume on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 9:00 am until religious services at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Galvez, La. Pallbearers will be Christopher Stafford, James Turnage, Joe and Johnny Randazzo, Christian Schmitt, Jared and Larry Burch, and Allen Monk.
