A native and resident of Gonzales, La., Kenny passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 at his residence at the age of 68. Kenny was a retired Sandblaster/Painter and a former police officer for the City of Gonzales and the City of Denham Springs. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp., having served in the Vietnam War. Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A native and resident of Gonzales, La., Kenny passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 at his residence at the age of 68. Kenny was a retired Sandblaster/Painter and a former police officer for the City of Gonzales and the City of Denham Springs. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp., having served in the Vietnam War. Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Ourso Funeral Home Chapel from 8:30 AM until religious services at 10:30 AM, celebrated by Rev. David Drake. A Military burial will follow at La. National Cemetery, Zachary La. Kenny is survived by his wife: Harriet Soileau White of Gonzales, 2 daughters: Janna White Cummings and husband Mike of Gonzales and Mindi Bourgeois Wax and fiance' Chris Delatte of Denham Springs, 2 sons: Jeremy Bourgeois of Gonzales and Kenneth Ray White, Jr. of Galvez, 2 sisters: Gloria Harris of Gonzales and Shirley and Tommy Brown of Clanton, Alabama, Father-in-law: Jessie Soileau of Gonzales, 2 brothers-in-law and 1 sister-in-law: Kirt and Dawn Soileau of Gonzales and Richard "Chi-Chi" Amedee of Houma, 2 sisters-in-law: Keyla Soileau and Sherron Amedee both of Gonzales, 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Kenny is preceded in death by his parents: Pete and Viola James White Braud, a daughter: LaTessa "Sissy" Friloux, a grandson: Caine Monroe Friloux and a sister and brother-in-law: Juanita and George Tullier.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Bourgeois, Chris Delatte, Tommy Tullier, Kirt Soileau, George Tullier, Jr., Tommy Brown, Mike Cummings and Jimmy Tullier. Honorary Pallbearers will be Roland Doucet, Garry Arnold, Poto Babin and Ronnie Comeaux. Kenny was a member of the Purple Heart Association Chapter #177 and a member of the Patriot Guard Riders of Louisiana.
