Barry Waguespack, 66, passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. He was a native of Donaldsonville and a resident of Sorrento. Barry was a 1968 graduate of Romeville High School. He served 6 years in the Army National Guard with honorable discharge. He was a railroad and train enthusiast and had a passion for all things John Deere. Barry was employed by Dow Chemical with 32 years of service holding various titles until his retirement. Barry Waguespack, 66, passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. He was a native of Donaldsonville and a resident of Sorrento. Barry was a 1968 graduate of Romeville High School. He served 6 years in the Army National Guard with honorable discharge. He was a railroad and train enthusiast and had a passion for all things John Deere. Barry was employed by Dow Chemical with 32 years of service holding various titles until his retirement. Survived by his mother Adlice Troxclair Waguespack; sisters Nelda Banker (Buck), Judy Braud (Gary), Arlene Bihm (Tommy), Elsie Hinrichs (Brian); brothers Marvin Waguespack (Lori), Jason Waguespack (Effie), Jesse Waguespack (Sherry). Also survived by 2 godchildren, Elsie Hinrichs and Randy Waguespack, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by his father Edgar J. Waguespack, Jr.; sister Connie Waguespack; paternal grandparents Edgar J. and Irma Waguespack, Sr; maternal grandparents Marcel J. and Josepha Troxclair. Pallbearers will be Marvin Waguespack, Jason Waguespack, Jesse Waguespack, Randy Waguespack, Glyn LeBlanc and Blaine Schexnaydre. Visitation will be Monday October 17, 2016 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Darrow from 9AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM. Entombment will follow at Hope Haven Garden of Memories in Gonzales, LA.
